Difference Between M.C. and Inflow Pressure Screen

Both Mid consistency pressure screen and inflow pressure screen can be used for fine screening of various waste paper pulp in paper pulping system.

Mid consistency pressure screen is mainly used for coarse and fine screening of various waste paper pulp. It has the advantages of many rotor blades, no winding, high efficient and energy-saving rotary rotor. The machine can screen pulp normally under quite high consistency(2.5-4%). It reduces the amount of water cycle and system energy consumption in production process.

Inflow pressure screen has the following advantages:  Small moter power , high production capacity, energy saving. Inflow structure, low pulse, good effect of homogenate. No gaskets companion flange pulp outlet, inwall is polished. Seamless connection of flow pipeline, no fiber hitching. Automatic oil injection device, seal water detection alarm device ensure the safe running of equipment and reduce maintenance.

Mid consistency pressure screen is used for fine and coarse screening of slurry, mainly for removing light impurities in pulp slurry in the central part of pulp processing system. Inflow pressure screen is used for even distribution and secondary screening of paper pulp and it usually be placed before paper machine.  Evenly dispersed slurry can has a better evenness and both side performance, thus achieving a better finished paper indicators
