Advantages of Inclined Screen

Do you believe that using  Thickener instead of Inclined screen is more efficient in using water & fibers?

Leizhan Reply: Stock’s concentration aim is to improve the efficiency and save energy consumption in the process of stock transportation, to meet with consistency requirement of next procedure. No matter choose thinckener or inclined screen all can improve pulp consistency from 0.8~1.2% to 4~5%.

However,  inclined screen has the advantages of simple installation, low cost, easy to operate, less quick-wear parts, which not only can effectively improve pulp’s consistency, but also can keep less fiber loss. But thickener has a higher investment cost, not easy to maintenance, spare parts cost also very expensive, so we suggest choose inclined screen.
